He was granted a loan scholarship of '10 Lakhs to confirm his admission at LSE. The officials of WBMDFC recognized the potential of MollaAzharulHaque by his percentage of marks scored in ISC examination (70%) and Graduation (75%). West Bengal Minorities' Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) has the loan scholarship scheme for such a meritorious student. It was impossible for him to bear the enormous expenses of his higher education. He is the first generation learner in his family, the first to attend college.
His parents never received secondary education. Coming from a humble family, his father is a migrated labourer and mother is a homemaker. For higher education, he chose M.Sc in Social Policy and Development at London School of Economics (LSE) UK, a full time residential course of 12 months about the design, analysis, and evaluation of public policies. His career goal is to be a part of the panel that formulates social policies in India.
